Revitalize Your Body and Boost Your New Year With Juicing
Plus, five juice recipes
Happy New Year.
A happy new year depends on how much you put into it.
So, let’s start the new year with juicing. Will you?
If you’re like me, I ate everything I could lay my hands on during the festive period.
I just consumed foods without minding calorie count, optimal protein intake, or healthy foods.
The result?
Jiggling belly.
” It’s simple: if it jiggles, it’s fat.” Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Now, the party is over. It’s time to go back to the basics.
When I consider my vision for my physical health, I feel it’s time to return to the basics.
Notwithstanding the fat in my belly, juicing is one of the tools I deplore to catch up with my health and fitness goals when I lag.
Health Benefits of Juicing
Juicing is suitable for burning fat (when utilised correctly) and is a healthy way to live.
Our body is made of atomic elements such as:
Oxygen
Calcium
Magnesium
Phosphorus
Potassium
Iron
Hydrogen
According to Norman Walker, a pioneer of raw juicing, juices obtained from fresh, raw vegetables and fruits provide a way to supply the body’s cells and tissues with essential nutrients and enzymes in an easily digested and absorbed form.
The body falls out of balance when the bloodstream, cells, tissues, organs, glands, and other components lack the proper proportions of essential elements or are deficient.
This imbalance leads to a toxic state known as toxaemia.
Most foods must be rich in live, vital, organic elements to restore and maintain health. These elements are predominantly found in fresh, raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds.
In any case, fresh, raw vegetable juices are an essential supplement to any diet, even when no specific dietary plan is followed and an individual consumes a wide variety of foods.
Again, when an unrestricted, irregular diet is followed, these juices become crucial, providing the body with live nutrients and vitamins often lacking in cooked and processed foods.
The situation changes when we consume raw vegetable juices, which are digested and absorbed within 10 to 15 minutes.
They quickly nourish and regenerate the body’s cells, tissues, glands, and organs. As a result, digestion and assimilation occur with remarkable speed and efficiency, requiring minimal effort from the digestive system.
How to Juice Effectively

However, I’ve seen friends, colleagues, and family members juice anything and everything in the name of a juice cleanse or juicing.
Just so you know, fruit juices cleanse the human system, and various fruits can supply the body with all the required carbohydrates and sugars.
Vegetable juices, on the other hand, build and revitalise the body. They are rich in amino acids, minerals, salts, enzymes, and vitamins essential for human health as long as they are fresh, raw, free of preservatives, and adequately extracted.
Like many of life’s most valuable elements, vegetables' most concentrated and vital parts are often the hardest to access, concealed within the fibres.
This is why thorough mastication of raw vegetables is essential.
I don’t have a masticating juicer, and I don’t expect you to get one.
My juicer is centrifugal, and I’ve had it since 2012. Although I dream of owning a cold-press juicer one day, I keep juicing with what I have.
The key is to drink fresh juices daily, regardless of extraction method. Of course, the more thoroughly the juice is extracted, the more effectively it will function within the body.
As a juicing student with considerable experience, let me show you how to juice effectively so you can start the new year happily and healthily.
